Description	:	Darline Bjornson, age 87, of Valley City, ND, died Saturday, April 16, 2011 at the Sheyenne Care Center in Valley City. A funeral service will be held at 10:30 AM on Thursday, April 21st at Grace Free Lutheran Church, 2351 West Main Street in Valley City with Reverend Steve Mundfrom officiating. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Grace Free Lutheran Church and one hour before the service on Thursday morning. Read More	Darline Bjornson, age 87, of Valley City, ND, died Saturday, April 16, 2011 at the Sheyenne Care Center in Valley City. Berry, the daughter of Herbert and Matred (Laney) Berry, was born November 7, 1923 in Valley City, ND. Darline grew up in Valley City and attended and graduated from Valley City College High School. On September 4, 1942, she married her high school sweetheart, Paul J. Bjornson in Fergus Falls, MN. Paul and Darline lived in Valley City where they raised their five children. Darline was a charter member of Grace Free Lutheran Church of Valley City. She faith fully served on the Stewardship Board and as a Deaconess on the Church Council, a member of Faith Evening Circle, she served as district WMF President, as THE choir director, a Sunday School Teacher and passionately loved working with youth groups throughout the years. She enjoyed being a Mary Kay beauty consultant. Darline was a member of the Town and Country Homemakers for over 50 years. She will always be remembered for her gift of hospitality and her willingness to serve her Lord and Savior. After suffering a stroke in 1999, her new home became the Sheyenne Care Center. While at the Care Center Darline enjoyed coffee time with fellow residence and staff, watercolor painting with her left hand, writing seasonal cards and birthday greetings to hundreds of friends and relatives. Her watercolor stationary helped to raise funds for the construction fund at Grace Free. Darline is survived by her sons, Tim (Ellie) Bjornson, Ironton, MN, Barry Bjornson, Las Vegas, NV, David Bjornson, Valley City, ND and Benjamin (Jill) Bjornson Minneapolis, MN; one brother, Donald Berry, Coon Rapids, MN; 11 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. Darline was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Paul, one daughter, Paula Dee Bjornson Corrigan, son-in-law, Ward Corrigan, one daughter-in-law, Kay Bjornson and one sister-in-law, Beverly Berry. reo 46840721-links to parents
