Description	:	Darold Lavern Trease, 80, of Orchard died Thursday, June 7, 2012, at his home. Darold, was born June 2, 1932, to Joshua Austin and Dorothy "Dolly" Thelma (DePeel) Trease. Darold was born in the same house where his mother was born, delivered by the same doctor, Dr. Gordon Fletcher. He spent all his life on the farm southeast of Orchard. Darold, was born June 2, 1932, to Joshua Austin and Dorothy "Dolly" Thelma (DePeel) Trease. Darold was born in the same house where his mother was born, delivered by the same doctor, Dr. Gordon Fletcher. He spent all his life on the farm southeast of Orchard. He attended country school and graduated from Orchard High School in the spring of 1949. He served in the U.S. Air Force for four years, from 1952-1956. During that time, he was stationed in California, Perrin Air base near Sherman, Texas, and French Morocco, North Africa. Darold and Wanda Martin met on a blind date when he was stationed at Sherman. He returned from Africa at Christmas time, and was stationed at El Paso, Texas, 800 miles away from Wanda. They were married on June 2, 1956, at the North Park Baptist Church, two days after her high school graduation. He gave his life to the Lord in October 1956. In February of 1957, he was baptized in the North Park Church. They returned to the family farm in Orchard, where he worked with his father and then in partnership with Galan Gibbs for 25 years until his health caused his retirement. Darold is survived by; brother, Lyle and wife Karma Trease; children, Anita Makovicka, Brian Trease, and Kevin and wife Jennifer Trease; grandchildren, Lisa and husband Mike Pearson, Amy Trease, Amanda Makovicka, Lynnzi Durant, Kristin, Joshua, Bradley, and Sara Trease; great-grandchildren, Joseph Lusk and Andrew Pearson, Aidan Anderson, and Rylee Durant; and many nieces and nephews. Darold was preceded in death by: parents Josh and Dolly Trease, brother Lloyd Trease, sister Ina Muller, and son-in-law Leo Makovicka. Burial was in the Orchard Hill Cemetery, Orchard, NE.
