Description	:	Sioux Falls ~ Darrel A. Barron, 86, of 3901 S. Marion Rd., died Friday, June 2, 2006 at Good Samaritan Village. Darrel Arthur Barron, son of William J. and Ada V. (Bickford) Barron, was born November 15, 1919 at White, SD. He grew up there graduating from White High School in 1938. Darrel was united in marriage with Ramona Postera on May 11, 1941 at White, SD. Read More	Sioux Falls ~ Darrel A. Barron, 86, of 3901 S. Marion Rd., died Friday, June 2, 2006 at Good Samaritan Village. Darrel Arthur Barron, son of William J. and Ada V. (Bickford) Barron, was born November 15, 1919 at White, SD. He grew up there graduating from White High School in 1938. Darrel was united in marriage with Ramona Postera on May 11, 1941 at White, SD. Darrel and Ramona lived in White for six years while Darrel ran the gas station. In 1947, they moved to Marshall, MN where they lived for 23 years and then Glencoe, MN for 7 years. During their time in Marshall and Glencoe, Darrel worked as a sales representative for Holsom Baking Co. He retired in 1976 after 25 years of service. They moved to Sioux Falls, where he began working with Sioux Valley Hospital for 8 years. He worked as a school bus aide for physically challenged children in which he really enjoyed. He was a member of St. John American Lutheran Church. He enjoyed fishing, camping and playing cards. Grateful for having shared his life are his wife, Ramona, Sioux Falls, SD; two sons, Joe Barron and his wife, Jan, Brandon, SD, Jim Barron and his wife, Barbara, Avon, IN; two daughters, Kim Winseman and her husband, Bob, Sioux Falls, SD and Jeanne Chleborad and her husband, Scott, Canton, SD; 13 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild; a sister, Naomi Hansen, Brookings, SD; and a host of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; 4 brothers; 4 sisters. Interment at Hills of Rest Memorial Park, Sioux Falls.
