Description	:	Darrell Lowell Bias, age 71, of Versailles, passed away Monday, January 27, 2020, at his home. He was born April 29, 1948, in Sedalia, a son of the late Myron Lowell and Gertrude Evelena (Silvey) Bias. Darrell graduated from Versailles High School in 1966. He worked for Guinn Oil Company, Automotive Incorporated, managed Green Light Automotive, Don Vance Ford in Versailles and later Poplar Bluff and Current River Ford in Doniphan. Read More	Darrell Lowell Bias, age 71, of Versailles, passed away Monday, January 27, 2020, at his home. He was born April 29, 1948, in Sedalia, a son of the late Myron Lowell and Gertrude Evelena (Silvey) Bias. Darrell graduated from Versailles High School in 1966. He worked for Guinn Oil Company, Automotive Incorporated, managed Green Light Automotive, Don Vance Ford in Versailles and later Poplar Bluff and Current River Ford in Doniphan. He moved back to Versailles and retired from California Ford as service manager. Darrell owned Bias Race Cars, building cars with his friends for many years. He was a member of Big Boys Toys Car Club and was an organizer for Hot Summer Nights at Sonic in Versailles. He was a member of the Versailles First Baptist Church where he served on the church council. Darrell also enjoyed hosting a men’s Bible study in his garage twice a month. He is survived by his daughters, Erica Packard and husband Shawn of Higginsville, Missouri and Tasha Carl and husband Steve of Ste. Genevieve, Missouri; four grandchildren, Dillon and Cody Carl and Aniston and Micah Packard; brothers, Rick Bias and wife Jenny of Versailles, Missouri and Phil Silvey and wife Faye of Higginsville, Missouri; several nieces and nephews and a multitude of friends. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 Noon, Friday, January 31st, at the Versailles First Baptist Church with Pastor Chris Bass and Pastor Mike Homan officiating. Graveside services and interment will follow in the Versailles Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 Noon, Friday, at the church. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Rheumatoid Arthritis Foundation or the American Lung Association. Arrangements are under the direction and care of the Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home of Versailles.
