Boston was born at Liberty Center, Iowa, April 22, 1872, and died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Lela Wright, in DesMoines following a lingering illness at the age of 82 years, five months and 20 days. He grew to manhood at Liberty Center and on Oct. 5, 1897, was married to Lunie Benway, who preceded him in death 18 years ago. To this union seven children were born, five of whom survive, Clarence of Lance Creek, Wyo., Lela Wright of Des Moines, Mable Bales of Norwood and Hollie Anderson of Garden Grove. One brother Joe of Chariton is also among the survivors as well as 16 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. A twin brother precede him in death 30 years ago. David spent most of his married life in Lucas county and was a farmer until the death of his wife. Since her passing, he had made his home with his daughter and her husband, Mr. and Mrs. John Wright of Des Moines. He professed Christ when a young man. He was a kind and loving father and willing when needed. Although his latter days were spent in much pai, he did not complain and his presence will be greatly missed by a host of relatives and friends.
