He was born on January 12, 1965 in Wabash, Indiana to Barbara Nel (Schaaf) Fruit and Lewis “Lewie” Lee Fruit. David was a lifetime resident of Kosciusko County, Indiana where he was a 1983 graduate of Warsaw Community High School. He attended two years of college, and then worked for the past 22 years for Da-Lite Screen in Warsaw. He retired in 2018 due to illness.... He was born on January 12, 1965 in Wabash, Indiana to Barbara Nel (Schaaf) Fruit and Lewis “Lewie” Lee Fruit. David was a lifetime resident of Kosciusko County, Indiana where he was a 1983 graduate of Warsaw Community High School. He attended two years of college, and then worked for the past 22 years for Da-Lite Screen in Warsaw. He retired in 2018 due to illness. David was a member of ABATE of Indiana, and a proud member of the Harley Owners Group (HOG). He enjoyed playing his guitar and he loved to take long rides on his motorcycle, Jezebel. Most of all he had a real love for family especially his grandchildren. He will be lovingly remembered by his son Brandon Fruit (Fort Wayne, Indiana); two daughters: Tiffany (Daniel) Hollett (Warsaw, Indiana); Rachael Fruit (Syracuse, Indiana); and his nine grandchildren. He is also survived by his mother: Barbara Fruit (Warsaw, Indiana); five brothers: Rick (Sandy) Fruit (Cape Coral, Florida); Fred (Deb) Johnson (Warsaw, Indiana); Terry (Patty) Miller (Panama City, Florida); Kevin Johnson (Vero Beach, Florida); Chuck Denman (Florence, Alabama); and three sisters: Peg (Greg) Burgher (Warsaw, Indiana); Sheena Watson (South Bend, Indiana); Carol Chapman (South Bend, Indiana).
