Description	:	David A. Patterson David A Patterson Jr, 80, of Cherokee, died Thursday, Aug 22, 2002 at 6 15 a m in Careage Hills in Cherokee following a brief illness. Funeral services will be held Saturday, Aug 24, at 10 a m at the Boothby Funeral Home in Cherokee. Fr Gene Sitzmann will officiate. Burial will be in the Oak Hill Cemetery in Cherokee There will be military rites at graveside by L.A Wescott Post #2253 of the VFW Visitation will be on Friday from 11 am until 9 p.m at the Boothby Funeral Home David was born July 18, 1922... He attended country school in Rock Township. He graduated from Quimby High school in 1941. He had farmed in Rock Township for many years. He moved to Cherokee in the 1970's and had resided in Careage Hills since December of 1994. He was a member of L.A. Wescott Post #2253 of the V.F.W. and Treptow Post #230 of the American Legion. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by several cousins including Donald Patterson of Cherokee; John P.
