On May 30, 1995, he married Betty Webb in Des Moines. Mr. Mills had been employed for the past seven years with Bill Rhiner Plumbing in Des Moines. He was a confirmed member of Grace Reformed Church of Liscomb and attended Gilman Community Church. Surviving are his wife; one daughter, Christine Stoneking of Stanwood; one son, David B. III of Superior Colorado; his father and stepmother, David B. and Cleta Mills, Sr. of El Cajon, California; three stepchilden, Diana Pierson, Larry Webb, and Debbie Holmes, all of Des Moines; four grandchildren; and five step-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother and one sister, Dixie Lee Brown. Added 21 Jan 2018.
