David Bert Peck was born Dec.7,1953,in Sioux City,to Robert and Joyce(Molzen)Peck.He was raised in the Riverside area of Sioux City.Graduating from Riverside High School.As a young man David began in long career as an exterminator.He worked for Presto-X Co.in Sioux City for many years,he worked for Schendel Pest Control in Joplin.David was a very kindhearted man,one who was always willing to lend a helping hand.He was a speacial handyman in caring for his mother.David enjoyed the time spent with his children and family.Oftentimes he could be found in the evenings on the porch with his feet up talking on the phone.He enjoyed fishing and boating. Survivors include his wife Flower;his children,Deserae Peck of Phoenix,Ariz.,Derek Peck of Sioux City,Cassonda Peck of Sioux City,Gabriela Peck of Joplin,Mo.,Steven Peck of Joplin,His mother Joyce Peck of Joplin;two sisters,Sherry & husband Randy Reed of Idaho,Amy and husband Rod Solomon of Westfield,Ia.;a brother,Tim & Norma Peck of Joplin;several nieces and nephews;cousins;his very close friend Booby Wickliffe of Oklahoma;and faithful dog Izzi. He preceded in death by his father Robert Peck.
