Mary Parker married David Reynolds at Old Kennett, 4th Mo. 17th, 1756. The record shows that David Reynolds, of Cane's Creek Monthly Meeting, North Carolina, and Mary Parker had previously declared their intention of marriage (as was the custom among Friends) at a monthly meeting of Friends, held at Centre, Delaware 'County, 4th Mo. 1756. Soon after their marriage, 5th Mo. 1756, they set sail from Philadelphia .... David Reynolds, soon after arriving in North Carolina, settled about a mile south of Cent re Meeting House, Guilford County, North Carolina, where they lived until the death of his wife, Mary, which occurred 4th Mo. 13th, 1807. She was buried at Centre, North Carolina. They had two daughters, Elizabeth, who married Jesse Davis, who were the parents of the deceased, and Lydia, who married Benjamin Benbow. Soon after the decease of his wife, David removed to his daughter's, Lydia Benbow, near Hopewell, 6 miles North of New Garden, in Guilford County, and was buried at Hopewell Friend's burying grounds. xi. DAVID DAVIS was born on 03 May 1798 in GUILFORD CO, NC. He died on 26 Nov 1884 in RANDOLPH CO, NC. He married CAROLINE WINSLOW on 07 Apr 1824 in RANDOLPH CO, NC, daughter of Eleazor WINSLOW and Elizabeth STANTON. She was born on 03 Oct 1805. She died on 16 Dec 1892.
