David was a member of Neal Avenue United Methodist Church where he served as a usher,helped with various events including community dinners and VBS. He was a coach for the Druids team at the Kiwanis Little League program. He played on the softball and basketball teams for the Owens Cornings plant leagues. He was a 1970 graduate of Licking Valley High School and had served as the basketball bookkeeper and president of the LV Athletic Boosters. He enjoyed fishing,golf and participating in tractor pull events. He was an avid Buckeyes, Browns and Blue Jackets fan. A skilled woodworker,he enjoyed making things for his wife. He cherished his grandchildren and a friend to all he met.
