Description	:	1.) David Elvin Morgan was born August 8, 1904, at Cleveland, Iowa, and passed to the rest of the innocent and good on July 12, 1905, at Lamoni, Iowa. Its parents, Mr. and Mrs. David Morgan, had but just gotten located in their new home in Lamoni when their little one sickened and suddenly died, its illness only lasting about 24 hours. Read More	1.) David Elvin Morgan was born August 8, 1904, at Cleveland, Iowa, and passed to the rest of the innocent and good on July 12, 1905, at Lamoni, Iowa. Its parents, Mr. and Mrs. David Morgan, had but just gotten located in their new home in Lamoni when their little one sickened and suddenly died, its illness only lasting about 24 hours. Elder John Smith was in charge, and Bishop E. L. Kelley delivered the address. The little form was laid to rest in Rose Hill. Mr. Reuben Elvin of Aledo, Ill., and Mr. John Morgan of Cleveland, Iowa, uncles of the baby, were both present at the funeral. NOTE: Before the above obituary, there was a hurriedly written notice of this child's death on page 1 of the 13 Feb 1905 Lamoni Chronicle, but it did not name the child and got everything wrong including the sex and age. (SEE BELOW #2) 2.) Morgan.—The infant daughter of Mr. and Mrs. David Morgan died at half after eight Wednesday morning. The death was very sudden and unexpected. The babe, about six months old, had been fairly well for several days and seemed unusually bright until a few hours before its death. The blow to the parents is a heavy one, deceased being their first child. Mr. and Mrs. Morgan recently moved here from Cleveland, Iowa. Mrs. Morgan will be better remembered by her maiden name, Vida Elvin; she is a daughter of Elder Robert Elvin. The remains will probably be laid away today. By one of those, sometimes. unavoidable errors, the Chronicle is called upon to correct a mistake made, in its issue of last week, in the obituary of the child of Mr. and Mrs. David Morgan. The child, David Elvin Morgan, was born August 8, 1904, died July 12, 1905, aged 11 months and 4 days. The services were from the home at three o'clock, Friday, in charge of Elder John Smith, Bishop E.L. Kelley preaching the sermon. Reuben Elvin and son, of Aledo, Ill., brother and nephew of Mrs. Morgan, and John Morgan of Cleveland, Iowa, brother of Mr. Morgan, were present at the services.
