Description	:	Located in the obituary files at LCGS Library, Newark, Licking Co., Ohio, David Farmer, Esq. formerly a highly respected citizen of Hopewell Township, died from the effects of sunstroke at his new home in Jay Co., Indiana, Monday night, August 26th, aged about 50 years. His remains, accompanied by his wife and son, were brought by his request to Licking Co., and were buried from the residence of Samuel Farmer, on Wednesday last, in the family burying ground on the farm where he was born and raised. 1878.
