Born Oct. 19, 1913, in Boone County, he was the son of the late Dr. David F. Pauley and Eliza Ann Bias Pauley. Mr. Pauley attended Concord College and Marshall University and had a masters degree in education. He was formerly employed by the Boone County Board of Education as a school teacher for 42 years. Read More	David French Pauley Jr. JEFFREY - David French Pauley Jr., 90, of Jeffrey, Boone County, went home to be with the Lord Friday, Dec. 19, 2003, after a long illness. Born Oct. 19, 1913, in Boone County, he was the son of the late Dr. David F. Pauley and Eliza Ann Bias Pauley. Mr. Pauley attended Concord College and Marshall University and had a masters degree in education. He was formerly employed by the Boone County Board of Education as a school teacher for 42 years. Mr. Pauley attended the Jeffrey Methodist Church and also the Church of God at Jeffrey. He was a very devoted Christian. Mr. Pauley's greatest wish for everyone was for them to be saved and meet him in heaven. Mr. Pauley's last words to his wife Aurella was ? I love you. ? He was preceded in death by his son, Tolbert T. Pauley. Mr. Pauley is survived by his wife of 66 years, Aurella Mae Dent Pauley of Jeffrey; daughter, Carol J. Boyer of Charleston; grandchildren, Patricia Boyer, Linda Boyer, Elizabeth Miller, and Barry Pauley; great-grandchildren, Jeremy Phillips and Corey Pauley; and great-great-grandchild, Savannah Phillips. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Monday at the Stevens Funeral Home, Madison, with Dennis Dent officiating. Burial will follow at the Jeffrey Cemetery, Jeffrey.
