He was born Jan. 8, 1938, at New London, the son of Gordon D. and Marie Nels Craig. On Feb. 28, 1981, at Mt. Pleasant he married Margaret McKuen who survives. Pleasant; Mark L. and Stewart both of Chicago, and Damien, Fairfield; three sisters Mrs. James (Pauline) Gross and Mrs. Henry (Rosalie) Fuller both of Mt. Pleasant; and Mrs. Robert (Karen) Cotter, Rockford, IL. His father, one brother, Danny, and one sister, Roseann preceded him in death. Graveside funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday Feb. 17, at the Forest Home Cemetery. Father Thomas Spiegel of St. Alphonsus Chuch will officiate. Friends may call as they desire after noon Thursday at the Weir Funeral Home where a sripture service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Thursday. The family will receive friends from 8 to 9 p.m. Thursday.
