Description	:	Age 83, son of Joseph & Sally (Gove) Goodhue; husband of Elizabeth ‘Betsey' (McGooch) Goodhue. David Goodhue lived in Groton, New Hampshire until 1854, when he moved with his family to Marengo, Iowa. The family took the train from New Hampshire to Rock Island, Illinois and then walked the rest of the way to Iowa City, Iowa County, Iowa on foot. He moved to Jasper County in April, 1856.
