His mother, Alma Walton, Monticello, his twin brother, Dennis (Pam ) Foster, Swisher, a brother, John (Ginger) Foster, Monticello, 4 sisters, Janet (Ed) Sumner, Cedar Rapids, JoAnn Leggett, Monticello, Julie (Jim) Harapot, Mt Vernon, Lori (Dave) Williams, Winthrop, 2 step-sisters, Judy and Marilyn of Cedar Rapids. He was preceded in death by father Ezra and step-father Dale Walton. David H Foster was born July 12, 1954 at Monticello, Iowa. He was the son of Ezra and Alma Brokaw, Foster. He was raised by his mother and step-father, Dale Walton. David received his education in the Monticello Community Schools. He served in the United States Army and later in the Naval Reserves. David married Ann Haag on February 8, 1974 at St Josephs Catholic Church, Prairieburg. David was employed at Energy Manufacturing in Monticello. He later worked on oil rigs in Oklahoma and at a private airport operated by Gulfstream Aero Space. In October of 1993 he returned to the Monticello area and was employed at Julin Printing, the Gazette and for the past 3 years Quaker Oats in Cedar Rapids.
