Description	:	David Henry Pressley was the son of Mr. & Mrs. David C. Pressley. A native of Pickens County, SC, he entered active service on October 20, 1942 at the age of 25, before which he had been a member of the National Guard of Easley. David was killed in action in the South Pacific on April 28, 1945. His remains were brought home to Liberty, SC for burial four years later. He was survived by his parents of Liberty; two children; two brothers, Curtis Pressley and Virgil Pressley, of Liberty; six sisters, Mrs. J.C.... Funeral Services were held Sunday, May 1, 1949 at Calumet Baptist Church, conducted by the Rev. H.W. Ayers and the Rev. H.A. Newton. Burial: West View Cemetery in Liberty.
