No particulars of the sad tragedy have been received here, the only information received being messages announcing the death and a message from his brother, Dr. Ned Keeler, of Salt Lake City, Utah, saying he was enroute to Planada and would accompany the body to Leon. The funeral party were expected yesterday afternoon to arrive in Leon, and the body was to be taken direct to the Leon cemetery, the only services here being at the grave. Mr. Keeler left Leon a number of years ago, and has resided at various places in the west. At the time of his death he was engaged in developing some oil lands which he owned and had only recently completed a new home. Keeler committed suicide at his home in Planada shortly after noon Thursday, by shooting through the head. His wife found his body in the garage of their home with a gun by his side. The Keelers were recent arrivals at Planada and were residing in town until the completion of a residence on their farm.
