William Burbeck's company; enlisted 20 Dec 1779; discharged 24 Oct 1781; service, 22 mos 6 days; company raised for defense of Castle and Governor's Islands and commanded by His Excellency John Hancock; roll sworn to at Boston; also, Capt. Thomas Cushing's company; service from 25 Oct 1781, to date of discharge, 24 Nov 1782, 13 mos; company raised for defense of Castle and Governor's Islands; rolls sworn to at Boston.
