Description	:	David Luce, Sr., s. of Henry Luce and Remember Litchfield, b. betw. 1682 and 1683 at Tisbury, Mass. He d. at Windham, Conn. May 13, 1752, Æ 70 (g.s.). David m. of record Dec. 9, 1707 at Tisbury, Elizabeth Pease, dau. of John Pease and Abigail Merry, b. circa 1688 also at Tisbury. She d. at Windham, Conn. Nov. 10, 1754, Æ 67 (g.s.). Chh. then at Windham, Conn., Amos Woodward, but no further record found. • iii. Jemima Luce, b. Sept. 14, 1714, d. June 15, 1778 at Windham, Conn.; m. bef. 1744 her 1st cousin, Jonathan Luce, s. of Josiah Luce and Sarah Allen, b. Aug. 8, 1710 at Windham where he d. Apr. 1, 1777. One child (unnamed) in the Windham vital records who was b. and d. in July 1744, but whether there were other children recorded by baptism only has not been explored. • iv. David Luce, b. June 26, 1719, d. Aug. 2, 1788, Æ 60 70 (g.s.); m. May 24, 1759 at the Scotland Soc. Chh. then at Windham, Mehitable Dimock, per the memorialist's research erroneously claimed to be the dau. of Thomas Dimock and Lydia Meacham, but actually the dau. of Ensign Dimock and Abigail Tobey, b. of record at Barnstable, Mass. Apr. 12, 1735. She d. Jan. 20, 1795 at Windham, Æ 60 (g.s.). Eight children recorded at Windham. [Revised 5/3/2014] • v. Elizabeth Luce, b. Apr. 6, 1722; no further confirmed record uncovered. • vi. Abigail Luce, b. Dec. 19, 1723, d. unm. at Windham, Conn. Apr. 15, 1759, Æ 36. The Tisbury record states she was b. Dec. 19, 1728, but based on her gravestone the last digit 8 in her birth year is probably "3" in the original record.
