Description	:	David M. Reis Sr., 42, Bismarck, loving husband, father, brother, and friend to all, passed away November 17, 2012, at St. Alexius Medical Center, Bismarck. Services will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, November 24, at Parkway Funeral Service, 2330 Tyler Parkway, Bismarck. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Bismarck. Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm – 9:00 pm Friday, November 23, at Parkway Funeral Service, Bismarck. Visitation will continue one hour prior to the service. David, who was a triplet, was born January 13, 1970, in Bismarck, ND, to the late Peter A. and Barbara (Ehli) Reis. He lived in Lincoln, ND, and was educated in Bismarck schools, and was an accomplished wrestler who wrestled at the AAU Nationals. David went on to work at Dorcher's Sand Blasting and later at Markwed Excavating. David became disabled in 2000, due to Fibrosis Silicosis. After becoming disabled, David continued his education and was proud to earn his GED. On August 19, 2001, David received the gift of life receiving a lung transplant at the University of Madison, WI. On July 31, 2008, David was united in marriage to Michelle Markwed. David's true passion was fishing and spending time with his family. He enjoyed playing cards, listening to country music, and making everyone laugh. David is survived by his wife, Michelle; daughters, Cassandra and Savannah, and son, David Jr.; his mother, Barbara Reis; six sisters, Julia Erickson, Rose (Keith) Grimm, Denise Stoltz, Barbara Ennen, Elizabeth (Joe) Renner, and Carolyn Reis; three brothers, Peter (Valerie) Reis, Daniel Reis, and Frank Reis; and numerous family and friends. The family would like to say a special thank you to Dr. Paulo, Dr. Arthurs, and all the staff at St. Alexius for their exceptional care of David over the years. He is loved by many and will be missed by all. David traded in his fishing poles for golden angel wings. Until we meet again, we'll picture you at "Heaven's Fishing Hole".
