Mr. Hyman was a son of David Pearly Hyman and Ruby Louise Taylor Dewitt- Hyman born August 15, 1953 in Pamplico. He was a mechanical maintenance associate at Delta Mills; was the owner and operator of David Hyman Lawn Care; was a member of the local chapter of the Christian Motorcycle Association; and was a faithful member of the New Hope Free Will Baptist Church of the Pentecostal Faith. He leaves behind: two children, David R. "Robbie" Hyman and Tressi H. (John) Kibe; two stepsons, Willard N. Haselden and Micheal Casselman; six grandchildren, Jemar Kibe, Taesha Kibe, Mordecai Kibe, Naomi Kibe, Derek Harrington, and Hailey Casselman; four brothers, Jerry L. (Mildred) Dewitt, Otis L. (Tina) Dewitt, Curtis E. (Lois) Dewitt, and Albert Hyman; three sisters, Sarah D. (Steve) Barnhart-Rowe, Shirley H. (Marion Thomas) Kennedy and Donna H. (Clarmen) Cook; and a large extended family of nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents; his beloved wife; three brothers, Howard L. Dewitt, EW Dewitt, and Herman Hyman; and one sister, Addie D. Thornton.
