The son of Raymond and Opal Alene House Langston, he was born March 1, 1955, in Jacksonville, Ark. He married Linda Blevins, on Nov. 26, 1988, in Pine Bluff, Ark. He was a concrete finisher. A member of the National Wild Turkey Federation and the Crow Mountain Baptist Church, David loved to spend time with his family. He also enjoyed deer and turkey hunting. He was preceded in death by his father. Survivors include his wife Linda Langston of Russellville; three daughters, Niki Handy and husband Greg of White Hall, Tori Langston Howell and husband Steven of Hector and Amber Langston Canitz and husband Jeremy of Jacksonville, Ark.; four grandchildren, Craig Handy, Tyler and Dillon Howell, and Rhae Ann Canitz; his mother, Opal Langston of Russellville; one brother, Duane Langston of Russellville; two sisters, Lana Langston of Dardanelle and Mary Hulse of White Hall; many loving nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral will be at 10 a.m., Tuesday, June 24, 2008, at Humphrey Chapel. Rev. Don Rose and Rev. Chuck Sanders will officiate. Graveside services and burial will be at 3 p.m. at Fitzhugh Cemetery in Pine Bluff, by Humphrey Funeral Service. Visitation will be from 6-8p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
