Henry "Hy" Capes; and Andrew E. "Andy" 1867-1940), m. Esta Kenworthy, 2nd m. Alice Debow. David 1st m. Bessie Davis, and she died within a year. He 2nd m. Stella Cox, and they had five children: Roy, b. 1890; Eva Mae, b. 1892; Fayette, b. 1894; Ray D., b. abt 1905; and Stella, b. 1909. David farmed for many years. He eventually moved to Concordia, where he performed odd jobs. When he died on 2 Aug 1942, he was buried in the Hartinger/Wilcox Cem., beside both wives, and near his parents and several siblings. His obituary, printed in the newspaper: David Rice Noe died Sunday morning (Aug 2, 1942) at the home of Mrs. Inga Hanson, 909 E. Seventh St. He was 82 years old, having been born in Ogle county, IL, Jan. 3, 1860 When he was ten years of age, he came to Neosho county, KS, with his parents, and then to Cloud county one year later. The family moved to IA in 1872 and returned to Cloud county in 1877, where he has made his home since. He was married to Miss Bessie Davis in 1882 and she died within a year after that time. In 1888 he was married to Miss Stella Cox. To this union five children were born: Mrs. Fred Bonebrake, of Aurora; Mrs. Stella Earley, of Gardenia, CA; Ray, of Sanford, TX, and Roy of Concordia. One daughter, Fay, preceded him in death and Mrs. Noe died in 1909. Funeral services were held Tuesday morning at 10:30 o'clock from the Chaput Funeral Home.
