David Terrell, Jr. was married 3 times, first at Green Springs, Louisa Co to Sarah Johnson, by Quaker Ceremony 19 Jan 1749. Sarah Johnson was b. 10 Apr 1729, d. 1775-1780, the daughter of Benjamin Johnson b. 1706 and his wife, Agnes Clark b. 1712, m 1728, the daughter of Christopher Clark b. in England. David and Sarah lived in Louisa Co and for a time he was Clerk of the Camp Creek Quaker Meeting at Green Springs. He moved about 1781, and after the death of his first wife, Sarah, from Louisa to Bedford Co. David Terrell,Jr. married 2nd Sarah Goode. On 15 May 1782 it was announced that the marriage had been consummated. In the year of their wedding, he freed his slaves. His home was near Senaca Creek which flowed through his plantation. He owned a considerable amount of land not only in Campbell, but some in other counties, part of which he disposed of before his death. Sarah GOODE Terrell died in 1788. Patty Johnson, daughter of Ashley and Martha Johnson of Louisa Co, was David Terrell Jr's 3rd wife. They married 25 Feb 1793. She survived him and moved with some of the family to Highland Co, Ohio. This was after 1805. The children of David Terrell II were all by the first wife Sarah Johnson and were: (1) Agatha b. 17 Dec. 1749, m. Mr. Pulliam. She died in Ohio. (2) Benjamin Terrell b. 7 Nov. 1750, d. 15 June 1834, m. Sarah Parrott of Louisa County. (3) Edward Terrell b. 12 Feb. 1753 in Louisa Co. d in Campbell Co. 1820. (4) Sarah Terrell b. 10 Jan. 1755, m. Benjamin Arthur 26 Nov. 1781. (5) Mary b. 6 Apr. 1757, m. 7 Nov. 1782 John Richardson in Campbell Co. The ceremony was performed by Rev. John W. Holt. (6)) Winnifred b. 14 Oct. 1760, m. 1 st Edward Woodham 26 Nov. 1781 in Bedford Co., m. 2nd William Moore 3 Nov 1789 in Campbell Co. Moved to Ohio. (7) David Terrell III b. 11 Mar. 1763 m. 1788 Mary, called Molly Anthony. (8) Henry Terrell b. 13 Aug. 1767, m. Charity Judkins. (9) Samuel Terrell b. 12 Dec. 1769 m. Nancy Reynolds. (10) Susannah b. 9 Aug. 1771, m. Chas. Johnson. (11) Ann b. 1773, d. 24 Feb. 1799, unm. David Terrell received recognition for his service to the Revolutionary Army for supplying beef to the troops.
