Description	:	David Thomas “Tommy” Hucks, age 77, passed away Saturday, June 17, 2017 at his residence. Mr. Hucks was born in Conway, SC, a son of the late Joseph Harmon Hucks, Sr. and Frances Irene Fullwood Hucks. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his three brothers; William Beauregard Hucks, Joseph Harmon Hucks, Jr., Tony Michael Hucks; and his two sisters, Ruby Joan Hucks and Frances Irene Hucks. Read More	David Thomas “Tommy” Hucks, age 77, passed away Saturday, June 17, 2017 at his residence. Mr. Hucks was born in Conway, SC, a son of the late Joseph Harmon Hucks, Sr. and Frances Irene Fullwood Hucks. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his three brothers; William Beauregard Hucks, Joseph Harmon Hucks, Jr., Tony Michael Hucks; and his two sisters, Ruby Joan Hucks and Frances Irene Hucks. Mr. Hucks was US Army veteran that proudly served his country. He was employed for more than 36 years for both Piedmont Air and US Air. Mr. Hucks was a member of Union United Methodist in Conway. He was an avid hunter, gardener, and coached baseball for over 30 years with the Conway Recreational Center. Mr. Hucks was a wonderful caregiver and will be remembered as a loving Father, Grandfather, and Great-Grandfather. Survivors include his wife of 40 years; Betty Hucks; his two sons, Andrew Lawrence Hagerud of North Myrtle Beach, Anthony C. Hagerud (Kori) of Conway; his four grandchildren, Whitnie Hardee (Josh), Taylor Hagerud, Jordan Hagerud, & Julia Hagerud all of Conway; his great-grandson, Emerson Hardee of Conway; his two brothers, Reuben Hucks (Hazel) of Gilbert, SC, Phil Hucks (Willie Ann) of Conway; and his sister, Linda Moyer (Lee) of James Island, SC. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, June 19, 2017 at Union United Methodist Church with Rev. James Grubb officiating.
