Description	:	David Weldon Gordon, Jr., 88, of Georgetown died Friday, January 14, 2011, at Tara Plantation in Cumming, Ga. Mr. Gordon was born on August 15, 1922 in Georgetown, a son of the late David Weldon Gordon, Sr. and Jesse Cowart Gordon. He grew up in Andrews and graduated from Andrews High School. Mr. Gordon served in the Army during World War II and was a Mason and a former member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. He was a retiree of United Paper Makers and Pulp Workers. Mr. Gordon was born on August 15, 1922 in Georgetown, a son of the late David Weldon Gordon, Sr. and Jesse Cowart Gordon. He grew up in Andrews and graduated from Andrews High School. Mr. Gordon served in the Army during World War II and was a Mason and a former member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. He was a retiree of United Paper Makers and Pulp Workers. Mr. Gordon was a member of Oakgrove United Methodist Church. Surviving are: two sons, David W. Gordon, III of Cumming, Ga. and C. Kelley Gordon of Westminster, Md.; two daughters, Rebecca S. Hebert of Dahlonega, Ga. and Niccolette G. Vaughan of Cleveland, Ga.; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Mr. Gordon was predeceased by his wife, Juanita Porter Gordon. Graveside services will be at three o'clock on Monday afternoon at Oakgrove United Methodist Churchyard. Officiating will be the Rev. John M.
