Description	:	D. W. Hilsabeck Passed Away Mr. D. W. Hilsabeck of this city passed away at 1:00 o'clock last Friday afternoon at his home in West Holdrege. For over a year Mr. Hilsabeck had been in poor health on account of pernicious anemia, from the effects of which he died last Friday. He consulted specialists in most of the larger cities of the United States, including Chicago, Kansas City, and Denver, all without much avail. Hilsabeck of this city passed away at 1:00 o'clock last Friday afternoon at his home in West Holdrege. For over a year Mr. Hilsabeck had been in poor health on account of pernicious anemia, from the effects of which he died last Friday. He consulted specialists in most of the larger cities of the United States, including Chicago, Kansas City, and Denver, all without much avail. For some time Mr. Hilsabeck had not been able to be around very much on account of his weakened condition. Mr. Hilsabeck was well known as a pioneer businessman of Holdrege and vicinity, and his death came as a sad shock to his many true friends in the county. Mr. Hilsabeck became a member of the Methodist Church at an early age, which church he always held to although not a regular attendant. The funeral services were held at the home, 303 Nobes Street, last Sunday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock. At the funeral hour a large number of relatives and friends had assembled to pay their last respects and it is said to be the best-attended funeral in our city for several months.
