Dunbar Funeral Home, Devine Street Chapel, is assisting the family. Mr. Lee died February 17, 2011. Born March 31, 1936, in Winnsboro, he was a son of the late John Lee and Evelyn McEntire Dunleavy and stepfather, John Dunleavy. Dunbar Funeral Home, Devine Street Chapel, is assisting the family. Mr. Lee died February 17, 2011. Born March 31, 1936, in Winnsboro, he was a son of the late John Lee and Evelyn McEntire Dunleavy and stepfather, John Dunleavy. For over 25 years he worked for Red Lobster restaurants, where he was much loved by employees and customers alike. He attended the Special Ministry of First Baptist Church for many years. David greatly enjoyed yard work at his home on Sylvan Drive and his friends and neighbors, who stopped by to visit with him and who will miss his cheerful personality. He never met a stranger. Surviving are his cousin and caretakers, Carroll and DarLene McEntire of Columbia, "Hollywood," his special friend from Red Lobster, lifetime friend, Ronnie Goodale, and numerous other cousins. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Babcock Center, Babcock Center, Inc., P.O. Box 4389 West Columbia, SC 29170 or Special Ministries, First Baptist Church, 1306 Hampton St., Columbia, SC 29201.
