Description	:	Jefferson Davis Rackley, age 74 died at the home of his daughter, Pearl Clardy, at 2:20 o'clock. He had been in declining health for the past several years, and had taken to bed five weeks ago. He had spent all of his life in and around Liberty. Mr. Rackley was a successful retired farmer. Rackley of, Easley, J. Rackley of, Liberty, Stella Child of Travelers Rest, Anna Wood, and Pearl Clardy. Thirty-eight grandchildren and one sister, Bessie Hooper of Liberty. Funeral services from Golden Creek Baptist Church by, Rev. R. F. Jones and the Rev. H. A. Newton. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be, Alvin Wood, Jule Muck Merck, John Child, Harold and Dewey Rackley. Honorary escort will be deacons.
