| Description | : | John spread the message throughout Hollis that the British had attacked at Lexington and Concord. When the alarm was raised the "Minute Men" of Hollis gatherd at the Town Common and headed for Lexington. He was said to be of Newbury, MA and was in West Dunstable by 1743 an chosen Deacon by 1755.
