Read More	DEAN ROBINSON Aberdeen American News (SD) - Thursday, February 22, 2001 Grenville ---Dean Robinson, 49, and his daughter, Janel Robinson, 12, of Grenville, died Monday, Feb. 19, 2001, at the Lake Area Hospital in Webster from injuries sustained in an automobile accident near Grenville. Dean Edmund Robinson was born Sept. 2, 1951, to Gerald and Irene (Kurkowski) Robinson in Webster. The family lived on a farm in Grenville Township, Day County, northeast of Grenville. He attended St. Joseph's Parochial School in Grenville and graduated from Roslyn High School in 1970. After high school he moved to Elk Point, where he was employed as a welder. A year later he returned to the family farm. He served in the Webster National Guard unit for six years. He married Marilyn Mathiason on Nov. 27, 1976, in Webster. They made their home on the Robinson family farm, where he farmed for several years and worked at other jobs. He was currently employed at Truss Pros in Britton. He was a member of the Christian Outreach Center in Sisseton. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, mechanical work and carpentry. His faith was important to him. Survivors include his wife of Grenville; one daughter, Jamie Robinson of Watertown; his parents of Grenville; one brother, Dennis Robinson of Watertown; and five sisters, Gerri Brink of Fountain, Colo., Pat Manning and Jane Jensen, both of Aberdeen, Laurie Kegley of Emery and Lisa Wyum of Rutland, N.D. He was preceded in death by his grandparents. Casketbearers will be Stan Snaza, Marilyn Snaza, David Lesnar, Mary Lesnar, Jerry Amdahl and Ginny Amdahl.
