Limestone Street, Gaffney, S.C. went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, February 18, 2016 at her residence. Born in Fort Benning, Ga., she was the daughter of the late Rev. Odis Everette Vinesett and Virginia Pritchard Vinesett. She was a graduate of Jenkins High School in Savannah, Ga., was an avid spades player, and was a member of Northside Baptist Church. Surviving are a daughter, Marci Ellis of the home; two brothers, Jack Vinesett and wife, Phyllis of Fisher, Mn. and Jerry Vinesett of Lakeland, Fl.; two sisters, Connie Hardison and Carol Vinesett, both of Gaffney; a grandchild, Jada Vanlue. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a daughter, Deanna Faye Ellis, a brother, James Vinesett and a sister, Dolly Thompson. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 21, 2016 at Northside Baptist Church. Funeral services will immediately follow at 2:00 p.m. at the Church with Rev. Joel Phillips officiating. Interment will be in Frederick Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: Hospice Care of South Carolina, 1612 N. Limestone Street, Gaffney, S.C. 29340 or Northside Baptist Church “Building Fund”, P.O. Box 508, Gaffney, S.C. 29342. The family will be at the residence, 1840 N. Limestone Street, Gaffney.
