Delain was bom October 19, 1924 at Bassano Alberta to Ernest and Maude Severns. She was raised in the Dorthy and Hussar areas. She was united In marriage June 4, 1947 to Joseph Miller. They farmed the Acme area until they retired to Lacombe In the spring of 1975 where she has resided until her passing, Delain will always be remembered for Ihe many hours she devoted to the auxllory hospital. Her love of music provided many hours of pleasure for friends and family. Delains piano plavlng as a member of the Blue Rocky Mountain Echo's was always appreciated by people who danced ond listened. Delain Is survived by her loving husband Joseph of Lacombe; three sons, Edward (Linda) Acme, Ray (Marlon) Sylvan lake, Don (Debbie) Innisfail. Five daughters Clara (Wes) Bott Sylvan Lake, Teresa (Derek) Kiksfra Bentley, Bernice (James) Gordon Bon Accord, Kathleen Miller of Lacombe and sixteen grandchildren. Delain Is also survived by one brother Lloyd (Ann) Sev-erns Calgary, three sisters Laurene (Bob) Thomas Acme, Helen Larkins Ponoka, Phillis (Chris) Burskov Drumheller, brother-in-law Lester Snyder Calgary and several nieces and nephews. Delain was predeceased by a daughter Mary Miller October 5, 1974; one sister Verll Snyder and two brothers Morris and Guy Severns. Funeral mass will be held at St. Stephens Catholic Church Tuesday, July 7, 1992 at 10:30 a.m. with Father Michael Blanch officiating. Interment to follow In the Lacombe Fairview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Endowment Fund of the Lacombe Community Health Care Centre, Box 1450 Lacombe Alberta, T0C 1S0 for the purpose of a Gomco Suction Machine.
