Description	:	Delbert Dwite Hodges, son of Howard and Arawanna Hodges, was born on January 26, 1947, at Minatare, Neb., and passed away near Central City, Neb., on Thursday, December 30, 1976. Dwite spent his childhood in and around Bridgeport, Neb., until he was 17, when he enlisted in the United States Navy in 1964, serving until 1968. After his discharge he settled in Hastings where he met Dianna Schriner and was married to her on July 26, 1969, in Franklin, Neb., in February, 1974, they moved to Fairmont, where he resided until his death. Read More	Delbert Dwite Hodges, son of Howard and Arawanna Hodges, was born on January 26, 1947, at Minatare, Neb., and passed away near Central City, Neb., on Thursday, December 30, 1976. Dwite spent his childhood in and around Bridgeport, Neb., until he was 17, when he enlisted in the United States Navy in 1964, serving until 1968. After his discharge he settled in Hastings where he met Dianna Schriner and was married to her on July 26, 1969, in Franklin, Neb., in February, 1974, they moved to Fairmont, where he resided until his death. He was preceded in death by his father, but he leaves to mourn his passing the following: his wife, Dianna; a daughter, Cindy; his mother, Arawanna Ward and a sister, Karylon Glenn, all of Fairmont. He is also survived by a brother, Larry H. Hodges of Middleton, Idaho, and a sister, Thelma Uhrich of Shullsburg, Wis. He also leaves several nephews and nieces and friends. Dwite was a truck driver. He enjoyed life to the fullest and will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved him. The funeral service was held in the Farmer & Son Funeral Home in Geneva at 9:30 a.m., Monday, January 3, with Rev. Herbert W. Jackman of Fairmont officiating. Soloist was Miss Susan Najmon and the organist was Mrs. Norval Lomax. Pallbearers were Dean Barngrover, Jack Hill, Darrell Dawson, Carl McDonald, Butch Gait and Bill Mefford.
