Delbert was born to Martha (Nissly) and Lewin Crase on February 9, 1924 on the family farm north of Redfield, Iowa. Read More	Delbert Eugene Crase, 86, departed from this life on Tuesday, March 16, 2010 at the Rowley Memorial Masonic Home in Perry, Iowa. Delbert was born to Martha (Nissly) and Lewin Crase on February 9, 1924 on the family farm north of Redfield, Iowa. Delbert attended the Redfield School and started working on the farm at an early age. On July 18, 1948, Delbert was united in marriage to Wilma Jean Stanley at the United Methodist Church in Dexter. Delbert and Wilma Jean spent most of their married life on the Crase farm, north of Redfield, raising their four children. Due to Delbert's stroke in 1976, they moved to Glendale, Arizona for a warmer climate. They moved back to Dallas County in 2003 and resided at the Rowley Masonic Home in Perry. Delbert was a good husband and father, providing well for his wife and family. Delbert is survived by his four children, Sandra Jean Mitchell of Big Bear Lake, CA, Darrell Dean Crase of Pella, IA, Michael Lee Crase of Granger, IA and Sheryl Lynn (Keith) Rosenbaum of Perry, IA; three grandsons, Todd Mitchell, Austin Crase and Steven Pazzi; two sisters, Martha Jean Hoefer of Mason City, IA and Lena Mae Peckham of Scottsdale, AZ. Preceding him in death were his wife of 55 years, Wilma Jean Crase; his parents, Lewin and Martha Crase and his sister, Doris Webster.
