Description	:	Delia Marie Fortier, was born August 29, 1909 in rural Drayton, ND to Joe and Mary (Huard) Fortier. She married Walter J. Huard of Thompson, ND, June 1, 1931 and lived on a farm near Thompson, ND until retirement in 1978. She enjoyed her retirement years in Grand Forks while living at the Gallery Townhomes, the Briarwood Apartments and most recently, at 4000 Valley Square. Read More	Delia Marie Fortier, was born August 29, 1909 in rural Drayton, ND to Joe and Mary (Huard) Fortier. She married Walter J. Huard of Thompson, ND, June 1, 1931 and lived on a farm near Thompson, ND until retirement in 1978. She enjoyed her retirement years in Grand Forks while living at the Gallery Townhomes, the Briarwood Apartments and most recently, at 4000 Valley Square. Over the years, she enjoyed her growing family (now 59 members strong), her many, many friends, music, and dancing. In her younger years, she was an active member of St. Jude's Catholic Church in Thompson, ND and later, in retirement, St. Michael's Catholic Church in Grand Forks. Delia was an inspiration to friends and family alike; her positive mental attitude was contagious and people were drawn to her sense of joy and fun. She is survived by her children; son, T. Keith Huard and Barbara of Munster, IN; daughter, Theresa (Huard) Enright and Don of Glenwood, MD; daughter, Mary Jo Huard and Bill Fullmer of Dallas, TX. Delia enjoyed the companionship of her 13 loving Grandchildren who, over the years, treasured their visits with their Grandma and Grandpa Huard. Grandchildren include; Brent Huard of Valparaiso, IN; Cheri (Huard) Ericks of Pompano Beach, FL; Julie Huard of Omaha, NE; Trever Huard of Munster, IN; Jeffrey Lee of Fridley, MN; Jennifer (Lee) Johnson of St. Paul, MN; Kimberly (Enright) Johnson of Bemidji, MN; Wendi Enright of Guilerland, NY; Donald Enright II of Ellicott City, MD; Tom Enright of Olney, MD; Annemarie (Landry) Kirkpatrick of Manassas, VA; Daniel Michaels of Myersville, MD; and David Michaels of Dallas, TX. Her 28 Great Grandchildren and 1 Great, Great Grandchild were a great source of pride and delight to her. Her large, extended family, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends were always an important and loving part of her life.
