Description	:	Delila married Frank Abents (1859 - February 1929) at Muscatine, Iowa, in March of 1914. Police said that Mrs. Abents was walking east across Sixth street when she was struck by an automobile driven by Arthur Pollitz jr., 1909 West First street, Davenport. The automobile was moving north on Main street at the time of the accident. Mrs. Ann Passig McClurg of Davenport, who was crossing the street with Mrs. Abents, was also struck and injured by the automobile. She was taken to Mercy hospital, where attendants described her condition as “fair.” Mrs. McClurg is blind. She incurred internal injuries. Motorists involved in each accident said their vision was impaired by rainy and foggy weather. All declared they were driving at moderate speeds. Mrs. Abents was born in Rochester, Ia., Dec. 20, 1870. Her first husband Albert Olson, who she married in Rochester, died many years ago. She was married to Frank Abents at Muscatine, Ia. In 1913. Mr. Abents died in 1928. Surviving are four sons, Claude Olson and Albert Olson, both of Davenport, and Harry Olson and Louis Olson, both of Muscatine; a daughter, Mrs. Henry Lanfier of Grand View, Ia., and twenty grandchildren.
