Delilah Louise Katherine Aurich was born November 4, 1922 at rural, Wisner, NE to Lorenz and Louise (Eggers) Schwartz. She was baptized and confirmed at Zion Lutheran Church, rural Wisner. Delilah attended Zion Lutheran Parochial School. On February 2, 1950, she was united in marriage to Obert Aurich at St. John Lutheran Church rural, Beemer, NE. The couple farmed southwest of Beemer, NE. Delilah was a member of Zion-St. John Lutheran Church, its Ladies Aid, Quilters, and was a voting member; member of the Industrious Project Club, and numerous card groups. She helped found and was a leader for the Peppy Peppers 4-H Club. She enjoyed gardening, cooking and faithfully kept photo albums for the children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Survivors include- Husband-Obert Aurich of Beemer, NE Daughter- Ronda and Bob Aversman of Corder, MO Son-Kent Aurich of Beemer, NE Daughter-Marsha and Terry Ferguson of Lincoln, NE 6 Grandchildren 6 Great Grandchildren Sister- Luetta Fullner of Beemer, NE Brother-in-law-Verlin Schulz of Wisner, NE She was preceded in death by her parents-Lorenz and Louise Schwartz, sister-Dorine Schulz, and brother-Harlan Schwartz."
