Description	:	Dell Floyd Critcher, 83, of Roanoke, Va., passed away Tuesday, October 10, 2006. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clifton and Lucille Floyd, her husband, M.W. Critcher, Jr., her son, Butch Critcher, son-in-law, Landon Carder, and her brother, Bobby Floyd. Dell is survived by four brothers, Steve Floyd, Billy Floyd, Gene Floyd, and Ben Floyd. She is also survived by one son, Floyd Critcher and wife, Brenda; three daughters, Emmy Lou Davis and husband, Ron, Rho Carder, and Cydney Willis and husband, David; one daughter-in-law, Mary Critcher; grandchildren, Scott Davis, Chip Critcher, Greg Carder, Tiffany Kinsey, Denton, Marshall, James, Keith, and Blake Willis; and eight great-grandchildren. Dell was an LPN at Roanoke Memorial Hospital, and in private practice with Dr. Algie Davis. After nursing, she started her own business, Windsor Fabrications, where she made custom made draperies for many homes in and around Roanoke. She also owned and operated Windsor House. The family will receive friends Thursday night at Oakey's South Chapel from 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be at Oakey's South Chapel at 1 p.m. Friday, October 13, 2006. The Rev. Jim Hain will officiate. A graveside service will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Henderson, N.C. at 1 p.m. Saturday, October 14, 2006. Dr. J. Stephen Bolton will officiate. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorials be made to Greenvale School, 627 Westwood Blvd., N.W. Roanoke, Va. 24017, or a charity of your choice.
