She was born in Bangor, December 24, 1893, daughter of Lafayette and Jennie (Brann) Brown.
She was a member of the Lincoln Congressional Church and the Ladies' Guild of the church and the Lincoln Chapter, OES.
She is survived by her husband, Harry E. Whitney, of this town; two sons, Eugene A. and Roland W., of Lincoln; a daughter, Mrs. Louise Briggs of Brewer; 12 grandchildren; four brothers, William, Daniel, Eugene of Bangor, and Percy of Levant; several nieces and nephews.
