Description	:	Della DeEtte Morrison, daughter of David and Clara Ellen Morrison was born in Pleasanton, Nebraska on May 5, 1890 and died at Bethesda Care Center in Campbell on August 22, 1985. Della was next to the youngest in a family of 11 children and she was the last survivor. At the age of four she moved to Red Cloud and then to a farm west of Cowles. Read More	Della DeEtte Morrison, daughter of David and Clara Ellen Morrison was born in Pleasanton, Nebraska on May 5, 1890 and died at Bethesda Care Center in Campbell on August 22, 1985. Della was next to the youngest in a family of 11 children and she was the last survivor. At the age of four she moved to Red Cloud and then to a farm west of Cowles. Later the family moved back to Red Cloud where she attended school and worked until her marriage to George Corner on December 29, 1909 at Red Cloud. The couple lived for several years on the Corner family farm southwest of Blue Hill and moved into Red Cloud to operate a garage later. In August of 1916, they moved to Blue Hill where Della remained until she went to live in Grandview Manor in Campbell in October 1981. Her husband and a granddaughter preceded her in death. Survivors include a son, James Corner and wife Alice of Blue Hill and a daughter, Ellen Jones and husband, pierce, also of Blue Hill; five grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren. Della was a member of the United Methodist Church, UMW, the American Legion Auxiliary and the Royal Neighbors. Funeral services were held on Monday, August 26, 1985 at the United Methodist Church in Blue Hill at 10 a.m. with Rev. Lyle Linder officiating. Musicians were Mary Ellen Moore and the congregation. Pallbearers were Roger Corner, Richard Moore, Dennis Jones, Robert Corner, R. George Corner and Daniel Jones. Honorary pallbearers were Scott Latham, Brian Corner, Kevin Corner, Michael Corner and Douglas Jones. Interment was made in the Blue Hill Cemetery with Merten-Butler in charge of the arrangements. IN APPRECIATION Heartfelt thanks to all our relatives and friends for the beautiful flowers, memorial gifts and food and sympathy cards in our recent sorrow in the death of our Mother and Grandmother.
