Death came suddenly. She was taken ill, Wednesday evening about six o'clock, but was not considered serious. Thursday forenoon, she began to grow worse and passed away. The many friends extend sympathy to the bereaved. ...The People's News, Creighton, Nebraska 18 March 1904 ****** Dies Very Suddenly Plainview, Nebr., March 17--Mrs. F.C. Marshall, wife of Superintendent Marshall of Knox County, died very suddenly this afternoon about 1:30 of appendicitis at the home of her mother, Mrs. Hosking, where she had been visiting. Mrs. Marshall was taken sick, Wednesday about noon, but nothing serious was anticipated as her attack was not of an alarming nature. Her condition continued the same until yesterday noon, when a sudden change for the worse occurred. In less than an hour and a half, she was dead. The doctors attribute her sudden death to appendicitis. The deceased was married February 24, 1904 to County Superintendent, Fred Marshall of Knox county. The funeral service will be held at Plainview, Sunday afternoon at three o'clock and interment will be made in the Plainview cemetery.
