Description	:	Della was the daughter of George Sebastin Cropper and his wife, Mary Ann Davis. Mrs. Holloway's first marriage to George Lewis Brittingham ended in divorce. She had two children by this marriage, Edith and Reba Brittingham. She married Jerome Martin Holloway, a widower with three children of his own on 4/4/1920. Della and Jerome's first wife were second cousins. Together Jerome and Della had the following children: Frances Ann, Vincent Jerome, Mary Elizabeth, Ruth Jane, Rosalie Joyce, Calvin Martin, Madelyn, Violet Louise and Florence Christine. She married Jerome Martin Holloway, a widower with three children of his own on 4/4/1920. Della and Jerome's first wife were second cousins. Together Jerome and Della had the following children: Frances Ann, Vincent Jerome, Mary Elizabeth, Ruth Jane, Rosalie Joyce, Calvin Martin, Madelyn, Violet Louise and Florence Christine. All of these children lived to adulthood except for Calvin, who died at the age of 10 from rheumatic fever. She was a wonderful mother to all of her children and stepchildren. Her stepchildren were Edward Fisher Holloway, Dorothy Virginia Holloway and Julia Catherine Holloway who were the children of Jerome and his first wife. She was also a devoted wife and nursed Mr. Holloway for many years after he was paralyzed by a stroke. Della loved to sew and made quilts for most of her grandchildren. I am the daughter of Dorothy Virginia Holloway Brittingham. Della was a wonderful "Mom-Mom" and the center of our family when I was growing up.
