Iwanski was born near Farwell on November 24, 1896, the daughter of Andrew and Mary Kazaniecki Chrapkowski. She received her education in the nearby rural school. On November 22, 1919 she married Rudolph F. Iwanski at Fullerton, Nebraska. The couple made their home in Saint Paul where Mr. Iwanski operated a garage. Mrs. Iwanski has been employed at the Ordinance Plant in Grand Island, McLain's Cafe and Saint Paul Bakery for many years. Due to failing health, she has resided at the Abel's Nursing Home where she died Wednesday evening, November 22, at the age of 81 years, just 2 days short of her 82nd birthday. She was a lifelong member of the Catholic faith and of Ss. Peter & Paul Catholic parish. She was a member of the Altar Society and Circle 3. In addition to her zeal for crocheting, her love of children, and flowers, she was an active member of the ladies softball team of Saint Paul while still in her middle years. She also cared for the altar linens at the Catholic church for many years. Survivng are son Dallas of Saint Paul; a daughter, Mrs. Eugene (Cecelia) Lauber of Rome, Mew York; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Marczynski of Carmago, Oklahoma and Mrs. Chris (Mayme) Enevoldsen of Grand Island; and a brother Frank of Lincoln. She was a preceded in death by her husband on March 17, 1973; two sisters, Maxine Iwanski and Florence Lorenz and her parents.
