Born November 12, 1933, in Somerset Co., PA, he was the son of the late Raymond R. and Verna (Maust) Beitzel. He was also preceded in death by his first wife, Beulah M. (Hornberger) Beitzel; one brother, Willard Beitzel and one great-grandson. Mr. Beitzel was a refrigeration repairman in Lancaster, PA and a member of Oakland Church of Christ. Friends will be received at the Newman Funeral Homes, P.A., 179 Miller Street, Grantsville, on Sunday, August 20, 2017, from 1-2 pm. Services will follow immediately at 2 pm in the funeral home with the Rev. Galen Beitzel officiating. Interment will be in the Old Cherry Glade Cemetery, Foxtown Road, Accident.
