Read More	Delmer Darrell Roth of Milford was born September 12, 1920 on a farm southwest of Milford, Nebraska to Ed and Emma (Yeackley) Roth and received his heavenly crown on Friday, August 7, 2009, at Sunrise Country Manor, near Milford at the age of 88 years 10 months and 26 days. He accepted Christ as his personal Savior and was baptized at the Milford A.M. Church. As a young boy he attended country school near his home and graduated with the Class of 1939 from Milford High School. He was united in marriage to Violet Stutzman on June 8, 1941 at East Fairview Mennonite Church and to this union two daughters, Yvonne and Lenore, and two sons, Russell and Cecil, were born. Together they made their home in the Milford area, later purchasing a farm two miles south of East Fairview Mennonite Church where they continued to make their home. In their early years of marriage, they were active in the Milford A.M. Church and on April 26, 1959, they transferred their church membership to Bellwood Mennonite Church. Delmer served his churches as a song leader, Sunday School teacher, choir member and worked at Et-Cetera Gift and Thrift Shop in Seward where he and Violet spent many enjoyable hours. He was a hard working dairy farmer for 40 years and enjoyed working in the garden and taking care of the yard. He enjoyed going fishing, water-skiing and table tennis for which he received a tournament trophy at the age of 76. Prayer and faith were always top priorities in his life. Music also was a big part of his life and he enjoyed singing with his family at mealtimes and other church related activities. Delmer is survived by his daughters and sons-in-law, Yvonne and Robert Bontrager, Newton, KS, Lenore and Victor Meyer, Lincoln; sons and daughters-in-law, Russell and Char Roth, Milford, Cecil and Judy Roth, Milford; ten grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, sisters-in-law and brother-in-law, Frances Roth, Beatrice, Mary Burkey, Lincoln, Marcille and Henry Friesen, Milford, nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Violet in 2001, sister, Sylvia McNeil, brothers, Ted and Sterling. A Funeral Service was held on Sunday, August 9, 2009, at Bellwood Mennonite Church with Rev. David Miller officiating. Interment in Milford Mennonite Cemetery. Memorials have been established to Bellwood Mennonite Church. Pallbearers were Jason Roth, Jered Roth, Ben Roth, Brent Roth, Vincent Meyer, Adam Roth, Craig Bontrager, Eric Bontrager
