Description	:	Former area resident, 93 WAHOO - Delmer L. Else, 93, of Wahoo died Thursday, Sept. 20, 2012, at Saunders Medical Center in Wahoo. Memorial services will be at 10:30 a.m. Oct. 27 at Elm Creek Cemetery. Pruss-Nabity Funeral Home in Wahoo is in charge of arrangements. He was born June 7, 1919, near Elm Creek to Edward and Emma (Maas) Else. On Feb. 15, 1950, he married Lila H. Larson of Elm Creek. Survivors include his sons, Rodney Else and his wife, Gaylene, of Brighton, Colo., Dennis Else and his wife, Cheri, of Mead and Lonnie Else and his wife, Stephanie, of Elm Creek; 12 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren. He was an eighth-grade graduate of District 40 country school. He and Lila resided on a farm east of Overton for 18 years and then moved to a farm (the farm that Lila grew up on) south of Elm Creek. Delmer loved working with livestock, especially his team of horses. He was in many local parades with his team of horses. He also enjoyed playing baseball and playing his mandolin and guitar. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, his oldest brother, born at rest, Warren and his wife, Doris, and Everett and his wife, Arlene; and great-grandchildren, Hayden Lade and Ava Else.
