Services will be 10 a.m. Friday at Christy-Smith Morningside Chapel, with the Rev. Fred M. Penner of Glendale Baptist Church officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Read More	Delmont K. "Monty" Green October 3, 1931 ~ June 7, 2002 Delmont K. "Monty" Green, 70, of Sioux City died Friday, June 7, 2002, in Blackfoot, Idaho, following a sudden illness. Mr. Green was born Oct. 3, 1931, in Dixon County, Neb., the son of Dean and Marjory M. (Donnell) Green. He grew up and attended school in Sioux City. He married Glenna M. Perry on Dec. 23, 1949, in Sioux City. He worked for Metz Baking Co. for 26 years. He then worked as a contractor with his own business, G&U Construction. He was a member of Glendale Baptist Church, Triangle Masonic Lodge 643, where he was a past Master, Order of the Eastern Star Azure Order 540, where he was a past Matron, and Sooland Radio Control Modelers Club. He enjoyed playing pool and cards, fishing, camping and golf. Survivors include his wife, Glenna Green of Sioux City; his mother, Marjory M. Green of Sioux City; two daughters and their husbands, Diana and Jeff Fulton and Dawn and Harvard Bomgaars, all of Sioux City; a son and his wife, Curtis and Maureen Green of Blackfoot, Idaho; two sisters, Gay Gray of Hinton, Iowa, and Jeannine Slauter of Sioux City; eight grandchildren, Amie Fulton, Nathan and Russel Uhl, Kristi and Steve Carlson, Nicholas, Megan and Lindsey Green; and numerous nieces and nephews.
